As always, investors and bankers like the “easy” projects in prime locations where selling or renting is assured and where the owner has significant equity. They dislike properties with too much leverage or a property with any sort of challenge such as a blighted neighborhood, steep slopes, environmental hazards, or a property that is remote from the center of town.
